What if I have no experience in electronics?

Experience in electronics can be helpful, but it is by no means required. Many of our candidates enter the program without previous experience in electronics, and these candidates, historically, have no issues successfully completing the program and finding careers within the industry.

How long is the training?

While our program is self-paced and doesn’t operate on a common semester timeline, training typically lasts for 5 months.

VAe training includes 3 phases:

Phases I and II focus on both classroom and lab training.

Phase III focuses on employment. In this phase, our advocates assist with resume preparation, interview skills, and use our relationships with employers to find our students’ careers.

How do you assist with career placement?

Every student is assigned an Advocate. The Advocate’s job is to work with you to ensure your success in our program. In the final phase of our program, you work with your Advocate to prepare a resume and sharpen your interview skills. The Advocate then utilizes our relationship with employers to find you a career with companies.

What is the placement rate?

Based on national statistics gathered from all of our locations, on average, 8 out of 10 of our graduates are employed within 6 months of graduation.

What types of careers can I expect to have as a result of this training?

Our graduates go on to work in the electromechanical world in technician roles such as: electronics, calibration, test, automotive electronics technician, solderer, electromechanical inspector, electromechanical assembler, wire/cable harness technician/assembler, machine technician, avionics technician.
